On Saturday, October 26, 2013 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, the the American Red Cross will be conducting Adult First Aid/CPR/AED at the Main Library. The cost for this training course is $70.
“The Adult First Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies for victims about 12 years and older. Successful students will receive a certificate for Adult First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years. This course consists of an online learning and a classroom skills session. Online learning must be completed prior to attending the classroom skills session. For more information, please reference the attachment received via e-mail when registering.”
