Creative Writing Workshop with Eileen Brady @ Main Library

Eileen Brady has been a newspaper editor and reporter and has worked as a freelance writer and editor.  She co-wrote a small book about the history of Wilmington, where she grew up.  She started a youth section at the Daily News of Jacksonville, N.C., and was the editor of a youth section at the State Journal-Register in Springfield, IL. She has also served two stints as a columnist for the Wilmington News Journal.

Pondering the Paranormal @ Main Library
Oct 25 @ 8:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Join us at the Main Library for our annual ghostly event! There will be a presentation by OOPS investigators, a tour and history of the library, and small group mini-investigations.

Presentation and tour open to up to 50 people. The investigation portion of the program on Halloween Night will be limited to the first 15 people to register.

Doors open at 8:00pm. Please use Library Avenue entrance. This event is open to Adults and Teens, 15 and older. Space is limited, please pre-register by calling 937-382-2417 x26.

This month, Dr. Russell Kincaid, Associate Professor of Mathematics at Wilmington College will speak from 2:00-3:00pm at the Main Library about electric cars.
