You will need your library card and your 4 digit pin.
Your library card number is located under the barcode on the back of the card. There are 14 digits. Do not include spaces.
Your default pin is the last 4 digits of the phone number you provided when you signed up for your card. You can change your pin number in person or over the phone by verifying your information.
- Navigate to www.wilmington.lib.oh.us. Click “CATALOG & YOUR ACCOUNT” from the black toolbar under the photo.
- Sign in using your library card and pin number.
- Once you are signed in you can view what you have checked out, view due dates, renew, and request materials.
Navigate to your account by going to our website at www.wilmington.lib.oh.us
Choose “CATALOG & YOUR ACCOUNT” from the website toolbar (located below the large photo at the top of the page).
Log into your account using your library card number (Located below your barcode on your card) and your pin (The last 4 numbers of your home phone, if you don’t have a home phone, it will be the last 4 of the phone number you provided when you signed up for a card.).
Troubleshooting
If you are unable to renew, here are a few reasons why:
- You have already renewed the item the maximum amount of times (Times renewed are listed with your account).
- DVDs can only be renewed 1 time.
- New books are limited to one renewal (Pink Stickers).
- All other materials can only be renewed 2 times.
**If you have not reached your maximum amount of renewals and the item still says it is unable to renew, it may be on request. When an item is requested, it will not allow you to renew.**

Search the library catalog for your item. Once you find it in the catalog, click "HOLD". If you haven't signed in to the catalog, you will be prompted to sign in with your library card number and PIN to complete the request.
Indicate which location, Wilmington or Clinton-Massie, you wish to pick up the item and click "CONFIRM".
When it is ready for you, you will receive a notice from the library.

Wireless printing in a public setting is notoriously complicated, but thanks to some simple setups, it may be possible for you to print from your laptop computer while in main library (Wilmington).
WiFi printing
- Price is $.10 / page B&W; $.30 / page COLOR.
- A “Guest ID” with barcode is required. Request from any library staff.
- Go to this address and follow the directions to temporarily install the library printer:
patrons.wilmington.lib.oh.us:30044/clientlauncher
In most cases, at “Print …”, you can specify B&W or color. A print command will request you to input the Guest ID. Print jobs are sent to the Self-Service Station. Take your guest ID barcode to the station. Follow its directions to pay and Release A Print Job.
A few caveats
- Installing software on your device is your responsibility.
- Your device may not be supported.
- You may not have user rights on your device necessary to install the software.
