Teen Events @ Main Library

WritingCalling all teens! Join us on Monday, May 9 @ 6 pm for the next session of our monthly writers group. Come and work on project, do writing exercises, and hear from other teen writers.

Writing not your thing? Join us afterwards at 7 pm  for our Teen Advisory Board meeting (or come to both!). This is your chance to have a say in the library and to help us plan upcoming teen programming.

Poem In Your Pocket Day!

POEM IN YOUR POCKETVisit us on Thursday, April 28 for “Poem in You Pocket Day” and pick up a poem for your pocket!

On Poem in Your Pocket Day, people throughout the United States select a poem, carry it with them, and share it with others throughout the day.

You can also share your poem selection on Twitter by using the hashtag #pocketpoem.

Poems from pockets are unfolded throughout the day at events in parks, libraries, schools, workplaces, and bookstores.

Happy national poetry month!
