Food for Fines @ Your Library

fff2016The Main Library and Clinton-Massie Branch are accepting nonperishable food as payment for fines beginning Friday, November 25, 2015 until Saturday, January 7, 2016.

The non-perishable payment scale is as follows:
0 to $1.00 1 item
$1.01 to $5.00 3 items
$5.01 to $10.00 5 items
(This scale excludes lost/damaged material costs and processing fees.)

If your fines are over $10.00, please ask a staff member. You may call (937)382-2417 x.23 or stop in to inquire about the fines on your account.

We will not accept items that are expired or visibly damaged. Please check your expiration dates. All items collected will be donated to local food banks.

Color Yourself Calm @ Main Library

color-calm-2Join us on Monday, November 14 @ 6:30 p.m. to take a break from your busy life to spend some time coloring and learning about calming techniques.

Kym Prell, of Peaceful Acres Lavender Farm, will be
presenting about the calming effects of lavender  and calming things to do from a reflexologist worker standpoint.

Samples of lavender products will be on hand and coffee will be provided.
