Wilmington Public Library participates in a statewide lending program called “M.O.R.E.” You can request books, DVDs, audiobooks and more from this website!
Navigate to the online catalog by going to http://catalog.wilmington.lib.oh.us
In the teal tab under Catalog Search, click on the M.O.R.E tab on the far right.
You will then be taken to an external site for M.O.R.E. (You can also access the site by going to https://www.ohiolibshare.org/zportal/zengine)
From the left hand toolbar, choose Sign In under the My Account heading.
Enter your library card number into the User ID field (Your library card number is located under the barcode on the back of the card. There are 14 digits. Do not include spaces). DO NOT ENTER A PASSWORD. Next go to the Authentication Service field and choose Wilmington Public Library from the drop down menu.
Once logged in, you can use the links on the left of the page to conduct a Standard Search, Advanced Search, or you can also retrieve a past searches in Search History. (Advanced Search is recommended for better results).
In Advanced Search, you can search by Title, Author, Subject, ISBN, Date, etc. You can also limit your search results further by choosing the appropriate Format from the list below the search fields. (This comes in handy when trying to request an item that is both a book and a movie, like Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone)
When you have entered all the information, click Search.
A new page will load and the search results will be listed below a list of all the libraries the computer is searching for your item.
Once you have located an item you would like to request, click on the title to go to the item’s page to make a request. TIP: make sure you scroll to the bottom of the page to check on the Availability of the item. Some libraries are “Not Participating” and other libraries have None Available, Item Missing, denote a 0, or the item(s) are out to other borrowers. Try to choose one that has copies immediately available for the best results.
Click the Get It button on the top right of the page. This will direct you to the request page. Scroll to the bottom, choose what location you’d like to pick up the item, and then click the Request button. This will take you to a page showing your request has been cataloged.
You can follow the status of your request by clicking under the My Account heading on the left side My Account. After you place a request, the status will be New. The next statuses will be Pending, Shipped, and Received. It usually takes about a week or two for items to get to the library. You will receive a notification when your item is available for pick up.
**If your order is unable to be processed, Not Supplied will appear as the item’s status. You will receive a notification stating that the item was not available. You can re-request the item from another library.
