Made possible by the Friends of the Library's thoughtful donation, this space is a hub for innovation and collaborative learning. Patrons can dive into diverse projects, from digital design to traditional crafts, enriching our entire community.

Our Stations

3D Printer Station

We have a single color Flash Forge 3D printer. If you have a file you would like to print, or if you would like to come and experiement with files we have access to you are welcome to! 

If you would like to bring in your own file please keep in mind that our 3D printer 
uses STL files.

PLA filament: $0.25 per 10 grams  
PETG $0.10 per 10 grams

Media Conversion Station

Free of charge! Do you have family movies on VHS? Slides? Or Film? At our media conversion station you can convert these to digital on a flashdrive you can take home with you. 

Cricut Maker 3 and Heat Press Station

The Cricut can be used to make cards, decals, and much more! We have a variety of materials available but can’t guarantee that we will have the precise one you are looking for. You are always welcome to bring your own materials for no charge or you can call to see what we have available. Our typical. paper is an 8.5”x11” page $.25 each.

Laminating Machine Station

Our current laminator is able to laminate up to a 8.5x11 sheet of paper. 
$0.25 per half sheet
$0.50 per sheet 

 

Comb Book Binding Station

Our comb binding station is great for creating a put together booklet with an aligned spine that will lay flat for review. It is $0.50 per binding. 

 

Large Format Printer

Our Roland TrueVIS SG3-540 is a versatile machine capable of printing lightweight banners, rugged outdoor banners, posters, and durable adhesive vinyl stickers. We are continuously expanding our expertise with this equipment, and our printing capabilities may evolve as we acquire new materials and discover more possibilities. Please bring a high-resolution PDF file that is created to size.

What is a media conversion station?
Our Media Conversion Station allows you to preserve your memories by converting old media into digital files. We can convert:
VHS tapes to digital
Slides to digital
Negatives to digital
8mm film to digital
Audio cassette tapes to digital

What kind of files do I need? 
The required file type depends on the equipment you plan to use. For most print projects, a PDF file created to the exact desired size is generally recommended. If you have questions about a specific project or file type, please ask us!

How do I bring my file to the MakerSpace? 
You can bring your file on a flash drive or an external hard drive

Do I need to know exactly what I want to make before coming to the MakerSpace? 
Absolutely not! We encourage you to come by, explore, and experiment! Our staff is here to help you discover new possibilities and try out different equipment, even if you don't have a specific project in mind.

How do I pay for my projects? 
Payment for your projects can be made by cash or check at the circulation desk once your project is complete.

How will I know how to use the equipment? 
Don't worry, we've got you covered! There is always a staff member available and ready to show you how to use the equipment and provide assistance with any troubleshooting. We're here to help you learn and succeed!
